The Electronic Waste Recycling (eWaste) Fee is a fee imposed on the retail sale or lease of certain electronic products that have been identified by the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) as "covered electronic devices" (CED's), and includes most video display products such as computer monitors. The state of California requires this fee for electronic displays greater than four inches and less than 15 inches. This fee is paid to the state of California and is not retained by the SDSU Bookstore.
